Crisp And Cole Investigation

Crisp & Cole to Face Administrative Judge Monday

POSTED: 8:00 pm PDT July 25, 2008

Carl Cole and David Crisp will go before an administrative judge next week as the state Department of Real Estate looks to revoke their licenses.

The hearing is not before a court of law, but there will be a judge and anything said under oath can be used against a person for civil or criminal action.

It was last September that the FBI raided several homes and businesses belonging to David Crisp and Carl Cole in Bakersfield.

Two days prior to that raid, the Department of Real Estate filed 11 causes of action against Crisp, Cole, Jill Pinheiro, Sneha Mohammadi and Robinson Nguyen, as well as Crisp and Cole and Associates and Tower Lending.

Monday morning at the Bakersfield Masonic Temple, Judge Humberto Flores of the Office Of Administrative Hearings will hear the DRE's evidence against those five individuals and two corporations.

The hearing is slated to last three weeks.

The worst thing that can happen to any of five people, including Crisp and Cole is that they lose their real estate license.
