A Bakersfield toddler and two teens are being held in protective custody after police said they found heroin for sale in the yard of a home where the kids live and play.

Investigators with the California Multi-jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team said the children found in the home on Tuesday were ages 2, 16 and 17.

Officers with Cal-Mmet said they located approximately two ounces of heroin, packaging, and $1,381 in cash. Police said a stolen Yamaha P50 motorcycle was also found in the back yard.

Four adults in the home, Frank Oros, 48, Kathy Oros, 39, Jose Cuadras, 21, and Madicella Torres, 18, were all arrested and charged with possession of heroin for sale, felony child endangerment and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Investigators said Frank and Kathy Oros are the parents of the children taken into protective custody.

Cal-Mmet is made up of Deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Department, officers with the Bakersfield and Shafter Police Departments, and an officer with the Kern County Probation Department.
